About Me
Mykah (he/they) Psychotherapist and Facilitator
Mykah is a trans psychotherapist and second-generation Southern Italian settler living and working on the unceded lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation.
Mykah holds a Master of Psychotherapy and Counselling from the Cairnmillar Institute and has completed specialised training in Integrative Couple Therapy through Relationships Australia Victoria. They are a registered member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).
With over a decade of experience facilitating private and public workshops, Mykah’s work is grounded in community-based, trauma-informed and somatically informed practice. They have spent over four years working as a psychotherapist within a Melbourne-based addiction hospital, supporting individuals, families and communities through complex experiences of change, recovery, and relational healing.
Mykah now works in private practice with individuals, couples and groups, offering a relational and systemic approach that supports deeper self-understanding, meaningful connection, and sustainable transformation. Their practice is informed by an understanding of the ways identity, relationships, family systems, and broader social contexts shape our experiences of ourselves and others.
Let’s Work Together
Follow Us On Social
Homunculus House acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the lands and waterways where we live, work, and gather. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and recognise the continuing connection, care, and cultural knowledge held by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
We acknowledge that many Indigenous ways of understanding wellbeing are deeply relational — recognising the interconnectedness of people, community, Country, and place. These perspectives offer important reflections on the ways we understand ourselves, our relationships, and our responsibilities to one another.
As a practice based on these lands, we recognise the ongoing impacts of colonisation and the privileges that come with living and working here. We are committed to continued learning, reflection, and accountability, while honouring the wisdom, resilience, and ongoing sovereignty of First Nations communities.
